SENATOR TIJJANI YAHAYA KAURA, (SENATOR ZAMFARA NORTH) MOURNS EMIR OF TSAFE YANDOTO HABIBU ALIYU                 

 

The Distinguish Senator Tijjani Y. Kaura (Senator Representing Zamfara North Senatorial District) today Wednesday July 26th, 2017, is saddened by the news of the passing on of His Royal Highness the Emir of Tsafe, Yantodo Habibu Aliyu,  who died at the early  hours of the day at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, after a protracted illness.   

 

Senator Tijjani kaura who is also the Chairman (Senate committee On Federal Character commission and inter Governmental Affairs)  , described the death of the late Emir of tsafe Alhaji Habibu Aliyu  as a great loss, not only to the family, Tsafe Emirate  and Zamfara state in particular, but to the entire Country as a whole, due to his starling qualities of leadership, humility, honesty and integrity.                

 

 The Senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura  said the late Emir has left a vacuum that would be difficult to fill, considering his exemplary leadership and the way he carried along his subjects in decision making process throughout the period of his reign in the kingdom of Tsafe.     

 

Mr. Senator Tijjani  kaura therefore extends his heartfelt condolences to the late Yantodo’s family, friends, associates  the government and people of Zamfara state and prayed Allah (SWT) to grant him with paradise  and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

 

Malam Senator TY.  kaura  also consoles with the Emirate and people of Tsafe, the Zamfara state Council of Chiefs and the Sultanate Council. 

 

According to the Senator Tijjani Y. Kaura  the life and times of Late Yandoto Habibu, an ardent advocate of peace, the rule of law and economic development, reflected a combination of profound traditional rulership, courage and admirable grace in conduct and manner. 

 

Senator kaura  said as traditional ruler, the late Emir has served his people to the best of his ability, defended the interest of his subjects at all times and fought for their rights in all circumstances.              

 

He proved to be principled and forthright both in private practice and as Traditional Ruler and would always be remembered.
